Countdown to 2025: #2 AND #1 - Sequoit Creek Park Opening and Christmas Tree Lighting

Antioch’s Christmas Parade culminated with the annual tree lighting at Sequoit Creek Park on Nov. 29.

Located in the heart of downtown Antioch, Sequoit Creek Park opened in mid-August. The milestone project was years in the making and reflects the natural beauty of our community.

Located at 845 Main St., Sequoit Creek Park features a splash pad; accessible playground; public performance pavilion with room for nearly 1,000; firepits; and a concession area with bathrooms, all centered around a re-exposed Sequoit Creek. The updates to the creek add beautiful aesthetics, plus flood mitigation attributes.

The park played an important role in our Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting this year and will continue to be a place where nature, community, and modern amenities come together for all to enjoy.
